The Mabel dress is one of the most stunning 1940s dresses. Painstakingly copied from the original sample in the Seamstress of Bloomsbury archive and the result is simply fabulous.
Available in authentic and natural '40s Rayon Crepe de Chine fabric , this style is so flattering, it drapes and ties to the front left side, a detail so popular with many of the original 1940s designers.
It has beautiful top shoulder smock stitching detail and tiny little covered buttons at the centre front of the bodice.
Garment care: Cool Handwash.
